You’ve watched 40 videos on making money with AI.

You’ve saved 200 posts.

You’ve probably bought a course.

Your AI income this month is still zero.

You know enough already.

What’s missing is a choice.

Most people chase four income ideas at once, do each one badly, and quit in week three.

The ones getting paid pick one lane, let AI do most of the work, and spend their own time getting in front of buyers.

Below are the 7 lanes that work in 2026, fastest cash first.

For each one: who it fits, what you sell, what I’d charge, and the trap that kills most attempts.

At the end of this issue you will also get copy-paste Claude prompts for every lane at the end of this issue. Paste one into Claude, answer its questions, and you'll have your offer, your price, and your first client message. You can start earning today without writing a single prompt yourself.

What You’ll Have by the End

→ One lane, picked for a reason

→ A real price for your first offer

→ The first message you’ll send a buyer

→ A 7-day plan that ends with a payment

Pick Your Lane in 60 Seconds

Need money in the next 30 days? Start with Lanes 1 to 4.

Hate messaging strangers? Lanes 5 and 6 suit you, but you’ll have to make content.

Have 1,000+ engaged followers? Lanes 5 and 6 will move much faster for you.

Most readers will land on Lanes 1 to 4, which is where the fast money is.

I test AI money-making methods in public and share what actually pays. Join the readers getting each one first.

The 7 Lanes, Ranked

The speeds and prices below are my starting points, assuming you do outreach every day. Your market and effort will move them.

Lane 1: The AI Audit

Speed: 1 to 2 weeks. Price I’d start at: $300 to $1,500

You sell a one-week diagnosis of where AI saves a small business time. Owners of 5- to 50-person businesses buy it: agencies, clinics, accountants, real estate teams.

Interview the owner for 45 minutes.

Map how their week runs.

Rank the 5 places AI saves the most hours.

Hand over a short report with a 90-day roadmap.

Claude writes your interview script and turns your call notes into the report. You spend your time on the call.

The trap: Building everything inside the audit price. The audit is the diagnosis, and implementation is a separate, bigger invoice.

At the end of this issue, I'll give you the 3 prompts that run this lane: the Audit Offer Builder, the Client Finder, and the Audit Engine. Paste them into Claude, and you can pitch your first audit this week.

Lane 2: The Claude Setup Service

Speed: 2 to 3 weeks. Price I’d start at: $500 to $1,500 setup, plus $100 to $300 a month

You set up Claude around a busy founder’s 3 most painful workflows, then maintain it. Non-technical founders who know AI matters but have no time to buy this.

Find the 3 tasks eating their week.

Build a Claude Project for each one.

Test it with their real work.

Hand over a one-page guide.

The trap: Setting up tools nobody opens again. Check usage in week one before you invoice for care.

At the end of this issue, you get the Setup Offer Builder, the Founder Time-Leak Finder, and the Claude Project Builder. They package your offer, find the 3 workflows worth fixing, and write each Claude setup for you.

Lane 3: Claude Team Training

Speed: 2 to 4 weeks. Price I’d start at: $1,000 to $3,000 per half-day, small team

You run a half-day workshop where a team builds 5 Claude workflows on their actual work. Team leads at 5- to 30-person companies buy it, because companies have training budgets and individuals usually don’t.

Pitch it like this: “In one afternoon, your team leaves with 5 Claude workflows built on their real work.”

The trap: Teaching features. Nobody cares where the settings button is. They care that their weekly report now takes 20 minutes instead of 3 hours.

At the end of this issue, I'll hand you the Workshop Offer Builder, the Workshop Designer, and the Follow-Up Engine. Together they write your pitch, plan the full 3-hour session, and turn one workshop into your next client.

Lane 4: The AI Content Retainer

Speed: 2 to 4 weeks. Price I’d start at: $800 to $2,500 a month

A founder sends you a 10-minute voice note each week, and you turn it into 3 LinkedIn posts and a newsletter section in their voice. Founders who know they should post but never do are the buyers.

The trap: Posts that sound like AI. If the founder’s friends can tell, you lose the client.

I do this work myself. Claude gets you most of the way. Your last edit is what the client pays for.

At the end of this issue, you get the Retainer Offer Builder, Voice Capture, and the Weekly Content Engine. Use them to set your tiers, learn a founder's voice in one call, and turn each voice note into a week of posts.

Lanes 1 to 4 are services, and they pay fastest. Lanes 5 to 7 are assets, which pay slower and keep paying. Fund the assets with service income.

Lane 5: Digital Products

Speed: 1 to 3 months. Price I’d start at: $19 to $99

You sell prompt packs, Claude skills, templates, or Notion systems to people who already follow you.

Collect the questions your audience keeps asking.

Pre-sell the answer.

Build only after 10 people pay.

The trap: Building for two months and launching to silence. If 10 people won’t pay for the promise, 1,000 won’t pay for the product.

At the end of this issue, I'll give you the Product Validator, the Product Builder, and the Sales Page Writer. Run them to test demand before you build, make the product, and write the page that sells it.

Lane 6: Paid Newsletter or Community

Speed: 3 to 12 months. Price I’d start at: $8 to $15 a month

You sell ongoing access to your thinking and your systems to readers who’ve trusted your free work for months.

Give the map away and charge for the machine. This issue does exactly that. The 7 lanes are free, and the prompts that run them are paid.

The trap: Launching paid before anyone replies to your free issues.

At the end of this issue, you get the Positioning, Issue Engine, and Conversion Audit prompts. They set your niche, outline every issue with a clean free and paid split, and show you where readers stop before upgrading.

Lane 7: Micro-Tools Built With AI

Speed: 3 to 12 months. Price I’d start at: $9 to $29 a month

You build a small tool that does one painful task in under 90 seconds, for a narrow group. An invoice follow-up writer for freelance designers is a good size.

The trap: AI makes building easy and leaves selling as hard as ever. Most builders spend 90% of their time building. Spend 90% marketing instead.

I wouldn’t start here unless you already have an audience or a partner who sells.

Your prompts: At the end of this issue, I'll hand you the Tool Idea Validator, the MVP Spec Writer, and the 30-Day Launch Plan. They pick an idea worth building, write the build prompt for Claude Artifacts, and plan a month of marketing.

Five Rules for Every Lane

  1. Sell hours back, leads, or fewer headaches. Nobody buys “AI.”

  2. Send 20 good messages a day. One line that proves you looked at their business beats a hundred templates.

  3. Charge your first client. Free work attracts people who never pay.

  4. Stay in one lane for 90 days. Every switch resets your clock.

  5. Post about the work. Your clients become content, and content builds the audience Lanes 5 and 6 need.

The Free Prompt: The Lane Picker

Paste this into Claude. It interviews you and picks your lane.

You are my AI income strategist. Your job is to pick ONE of these 7 AI income lanes for me and give me a 7-day plan to my first dollar.

The 7 lanes:
1. AI Audit: a paid diagnosis of where AI saves a small business time
2. Claude Setup Service: done-for-you Claude setup around a founder's top workflows
3. Claude Team Training: half-day workshops for small teams
4. AI Content Retainer: monthly ghostwriting for founders, powered by AI
5. Digital Products: prompt packs, Claude skills, templates
6. Paid Newsletter or Community
7. Micro-Tools built with AI

Before you recommend anything, interview me. Ask these questions one at a time and wait for my answer each time:
1. What do you do for work today, and which industry do you know best?
2. How many hours a week can you honestly give to this?
3. Do you need income in the next 30 days, or can you wait 6 months?
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, how comfortable are you messaging strangers?
5. Do you have an audience anywhere? Which platform and roughly how many followers?
6. What do people already ask you for help with?

Then give me:
1. The ONE lane you recommend, with three reasons tied to my answers.
2. The lane I should avoid for now, and why.
3. My offer in one sentence: who I help, what result, and how fast.
4. A starting price, with your reasoning.
5. A 7-day plan, one action per day, each under 20 words.
6. The first message I should send to a potential buyer, under 80 words.

Rules: Be blunt. If my answers show I'm not ready for a lane, say so. No hype. Plain English.

The line “Ask these questions one at a time” does all the work. Without it, Claude guesses your situation and hands you a generic plan.

Before You Close This Tab

You can start without a business plan, a logo, or a website.
